Mary Ann Dunn, 68 of Chillicothe passed away Sunday, June 2, 2013 at her residence.
She was born June 22, 1944 in Hardin, IL the daughter of Martha Tolbert Gordon. She married Robert Dunn April 28, 1972 in Loves Park, IL.
Surviving are her husband Robert, her children; Eric Schuller of Loami, IL, Roberta “Bobbie” Stone of Alton, IL, Edward (and Suzy) Dunn of Raleigh, NC, Tamara Smith of Springfield, IL, Zachary Dunn of Chillicothe and Deric Schuller of Naperville, IL. Also surviving are eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
Mary Ann was a board member of the Rome Youth Activities serving as past recording secretary and past president.
She was a former member of Altrusa.
She enjoyed baseball, gardening, reading, watching movies and NASCAR.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 6 from 5-7pm at Weber-Hurd Funeral Home in Chillicothe. There will be a gathering of friends and family following the visitation at Blarney Castle 16002 N 2nd St, Rome, IL. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 (Noon) on Saturday, June 8 at Hanks – Gress Funeral Home, 207 S County Rd, in Hardin, IL with visitation two hours prior to the service. Rev. Paul Frazier will officiate. Burial will be in Summit Grove Cemetery, Kampsville, IL. Memorials may be made to the the family for the benefit of Zac Dunn Education Fund.
